Apple and Apricot Crumble

Sometimes you just want to have some apple crumble! This dessert is so devine, all naturally sweet and when you add in a scoop of your favourite yogurt or cream you have a perfect combination!

Ingredients for the filling

1 dried apricots
5 apples chopped small
2 oranges peeled and chopped
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup water

Ingredients for the crumble
1 cup almond flour
1 cup fine shredded coconut
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
1/2 cup coconut oil

Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 C.
Place all the filling ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for 5 minutes or until apples begin to soften as well as apricots.
In another bowl combine all the crumble ingredients together and blend. Use hands to rub into a crumbly mix.
Add apple mix into a baking dish, then add crumble onto, press down gently.
Place in oven for 15 -20minutes or until golden on top.
Serve up with homemade icecream or coconut cream
